First, I want to thank you all for a successful Kickstarter last year. I had great fun doing it and I hope you are all still having fun with your dice.
Second, I promised a new Kickstarter for inexpensive battle mats. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a manufacturer who can make the mats at the quality I want, at a volume I think I can sell for, and at a price that would actually be inexpensive. So, rather than waste everyone's time, I decided to scrap the idea for now. I will revisit it in a year or so, but unless I can give you a good deal, there is not much point in doing it.
Third, I have been looking into making some rainbow type custom dice sets (classic d4, d6, d8. d10, d00, d12, and d20), as well as Fate/Fudge dice at 16mm (standard dice size). I'm not sure I will do one Kickstarter with both or two separate Kickstarters. More on this soon.
Finally, I am looking into partnering with the makers of Genesis: Battle Of Champions for a very special project. No details I can talk about yet, but I am very excited about this.

In 3rd place with 31.9% of you wanting this is "Premade laminated battle mats - Fantasy (Scifi? Modern?) map with squares and/or hex overlay." This is also the most expensive and least reusable option. I may include this as a stretch goal but I will have to crunch the numbers to see if it is doable.
In 2nd place with 34.8% of you wanting this is "Inexpensive Rainbow Dice (d4-d6-d8-d10-d12-d20) - Poly set of rainbow dice in a variety of colours." I already have a source for these and they are fairly inexpensive. Around $7.50 per set. If I don't do a seperate Kickstarter I will definatly do this as an add-on to the next one.
And finally, in 1st place with a whopping 53.6% of you wanting this is "Inexpensive Battle Mats (square and hex) - Plain map with decorated version as a stretch goal." Based on my preliminary investigations, for a 24" x 36" map, the price (after all expenses) are will be around $20-$30 for 1, $35-$45 for 2, and $45-$60 for 3, plus shipping (Anywhere from ~$10 in Canada, ~$15 in the US, and ~$30 else where). This would include a heavy cardboard container (round or square) for mailing and storage. Stretch goals would include putting a nice decorated pattern on the map rather than plain gray lines, maybe a marker or set of markers. If I can get a better deal in printing, maybe a generic not laminated pre-made battle mat (road, inn, small keep, wizards tower, maybe on both sides and each one taking half a side?) as an add-on. There would definitely be an add-on for the rainbow dice.
